The Union Public Service Commission will hold the Geologists’ Examination, 2011 from 3rd December, 2011 for recruitment to the posts of Geologist, Group ‘A’ in the Geological Survey of India and Jr. Hydro geologist (Scientist ‘B’) Group ‘A’ and Assistant Hydrogeologist (Gr.’B’) in the Central Ground Water Board. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
For details regarding eligibility conditions, syllabus and scheme of the examination, centres of examination, Guidelines for filling up the application form etc. aspirants must consult the Detailed Notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated 20th August, 2011 or the UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates are required to apply only through Online mode except candidates residing in remote areas specified in para 6 of this Notice who have the option of applying through offline or online mode.
